Portrait Homes, the builders behind the Silver Ridge development project in Maple Ridge, has been recognized with three separate industry awards recently - the Georgies, SAMs, and Avid Ratings.
New homebuilders across Canada shared honours in the industry's national SAM awards competition, where Portrait Homes scooped up the community development award for creating the attractive, exciting, and innovative Silver Ridge development.
This award was a highlight of the Canadian Home Builders' Association (CHBA) 69th national conference held on March 17.
The CHBA is the national voice of the residential construction industry, representing more than 8,000 firms across the country.
Their SAM award comes right on the heels of Portrait also winning a handful of Georgie awards.
Portrait Homes was awarded a special platinum award for winning so many Georgie awards during the past 11 years.
And for 2011, they also scooped up honours for large volume single-family homebuilder of the year, customer choice for multifamily attached townhomes/ duplexes, and customer choice for single-family production builder.
But the winning doesn't end there. Portrait Homes also won a national award from Avid Ratings.
AvidBuilder.com announced its national homebuilding awards on March 15, providing recognition to builders based on actual customer results and feedback.
Portrait Homes, based out of Richmond, was recognized with Avid's diamond award for the best customer experience in Canada.
"This is truly an outstanding achievement and honour for Portrait Homes to be given this award and it's been made possible by the unwavering dedication and commitment from each and every one of the Portrait Homes team," said Troy Steine, vice-president of sales and marketing for Portrait Homes.
Avid awards recognizes the top-performing home builders in provinces across Canada, with results calculated on homebuilders' performance relative to Avid's national customer satisfaction database.
"Providing an outstanding customer experience is the strength that allows Portrait Homes to flourish in a competitive market and positions us as the builder of choice in today's real estate market," Steine concluded.
