Four high-level provincial politicians will be hosted by the local chamber of commerce next Tuesday.
Mike de Jong, minister of health, Margaret MacDiarmid, minister of labour, Stephanie Cadieux, minister of social development, and Harry Bloy, minister of state for multiculturalism will be at the Pitt Meadows Golf Club for a lunch put on by the Chamber of Commerce serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.
Each minister has been asked to speak and then answer questions from the audience.
MacDiarmid will be speaking on open government and the economic advantages of having an open government.
Topics for the other ministers hadn't been confirmed yet as details were still being worked out at The TIMES presstime.
But chamber president Ken Holland said he's looking forward to hearing all the ministers speak.
"Mike de Jong is always a captivating speaker," Holland said.
