Mayor Deb Walters and her crew on council continue to dig a deeper and deeper hole for Pitt Meadows taxpayers to fill.

We have the Pitt Meadows Economic Development Corp. which is costing $250,000 annually, and the new library, locked into a long term and expensive lease.

The PMEDC has previously announced the transfer of some businesses to Pitt Meadows, but no mention of the incentives offered that the taxpayers of Pitt Meadows are on the hook for. Plus, no mention concerning whether any jobs will be available to Pitt Meadows residents.

Seeing as Mayor Walters and council are turning a deaf ear to the residents of Pitt Meadows, they should hang a large banner on City hall. It should read, "We know best - now shut up."
