Maple Ridge’s Grant Pocock and his sister Alison went on a family vacation to Las Vegas recently staying at the MGM Grand Hotel for the 2012 BillBoard awards. They had a picture taken with The TIMES while standing over the Vegas strip right before going to the New York New York roller coaster.
Rachael Thomas (holding The TIMES) joined 25 others Maple Ridge students from Samuel Robertson Technical, Thomas Haney, and Garibaldi secondary schools – along with five adults – on a recent 14-day humanitarian trip to Kenya with Free the Children.
The Madeiros, Payton, and Toren families spent some time in Maui recently learning to surf. The kids took time out to have their picture taken on the beach with a copy of their hometown newspaper, The TIMES.
Jackie and Roger Hudson accompanied their daughter Shannon Koopmans and grandson Colton Koopmans to Frederickton, N.B. recently, where Colton participated in the national high school wrestling championships. Colton brought home a bronze medal. They took a moment out of the busy tournament to snap a picture with their hometown newspaper, The TIMES.
Maple Ridge’s Michelle Farrance (bride) and Brad Lang (groom), along with kids Dacia Farrance, Ava Lang, Braxton Farrance, and Kenzie Lang were recently in Maui. They took a non-traditional wedding picture on the beach with The TIMES
