Maple Ridge’s Dave and Jen Paulson, along with their boys seven-year-old Ethan and eight-year-old Fraser, recently travelled to the Big Island of Hawaii to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dave’s parents (Norm and Ruby Paulson of Courtenay). They had a picture taken on the beach, with a copy of their hometown newspaper, The TIMES.

Members of Maple Ridge Community Church took a copy of The TIMES with them to Oliver last month to visit the Okanagan Gleaners. The gleaning program is operated by a group of Christian believers who voluntarily takes vegetables that normally would be wasted and turns them into soup mixes that are sent around the world to the hungry.
