Osprey Village in Pitt Meadows is hosting its second annual Osprey Days.
The first this Sunday, July 8 from noon to 4 p.m., and another set for mid-August.
It’s a free, family-oriented music festival with local bands Blackthorn and Money Fist performing at this weekend’s event, as well as the Aug. 12 festival. Organizers say there is also other entertainment for adults and children.
The event is hosted by the Osprey Village businesses with the purpose of bringing the community together in a summer festival type atmosphere, said organizers.
“So make sure to bring a chair and enjoy great music in the sun,” said Anahi English of Stomping Grounds Coffee House.
Osprey Days will also have bouncy castles for children, children’s crafts in the South Bonson Community Centre, children’s music by Lisa Rae, and facepainting. Local vendors will also be selling crafts and packaged foods.
