There are divas, and then there are charity golf divas.
This afternoon 144 divas hit the links at Meadow Gardens Golf Course in Pitt Meadows all in the name of goodwill and raising money for several worthy causes.
Last year, the Divas on Tour raised more than $70,000 for the Boston Pizza Foundation, the Zajac Ranch for Children, and the Cures for Kids Foundation. This year the Team Finn Foundation has been added as a benefactor, as well.
Not only will all participants enjoy a day of great golf and fabulous prizes, they will also enjoy complimentary breakfast, on-course tastings and sampling, a banquet dinner, and both a silent and live auction.
