A helicopter pilot found a 25-year-old woman missing at Pitt Lake this morning after emergency personnel spent the night looking for her.
The woman went missing last night (Thursday) at the north end of Pitt Lake.
According to Ridge Meadows RCMP, she only suffered scrapes and bruises.
The helicopter picked her up and brought her to Grant Narrows Regional Park where she was reunited with her family.
Both Ridge Meadows and Coquitlam RCMP and Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue spent the night looking for her. In the morning, they brought in an RCMP dog and handler.
The RCMP thanked search and rescue and the people at Pitt River Fishing Lodge who were up all night looking for the woman.
